Peer Review Process
Review Process
1. After submission, manuscript is screened for basic technical requirements.
2. The corresponding author receives a confirmation E-mail, informing them whether the manuscript
is properly structured or not, and presents the obligations to the corresponding author.
3. Authors are responsible for potential plagiarized content.
4. The reviewer assigned, is asked to evaluate the manuscript only based on objective criteria, such as
scientific validity and the technical soundness of the content.
5. After the review process, the editorial board makes a final decision. The time of the review depends
on many circumstances. However, most of the IJESS editors usually respond on time.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

conceptual and empirical research findings of environmental, social, cultural development, education and economic dimensions within and across nations. The Journal seeks researched findings that expand upon
our understanding of environmental issues and sustainability and/or explores the contributions of various professions to the activities, products and services of organizations toward sustainable environment.
Journal History
International Journal of Environmental Studies and Sustainability is a peer-reviewed journal published by
Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. It is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes both
conceptual and empirical research findings of environmental, social, cultural development, education and
economic dimensions within and across nations. The Journal seeks researched findings that expand upon
our understanding of environmental issues and sustainability and/or explores the contributions of various
professions to the activities, products and services of organizations toward sustainable environment.
